Day 2 started with the Hookers up 9 to 3
But as we all know, strange things can happen in this demon of a game! Check the results below from day 2 matches at the Mid-South Golf Club!
Mike B. and Russ had net scores of 97 and 84 and couldn’t hold of the surge from Rick and Dan whose net scores of 81 and 76 handed the Hookers a 3 – 0 loss!
Hookers Steve and Frank’s net scores of 78 and 86 allowed Mark and Matt’s net scores of 77 and 86 to secure another 3 – 0 victory for the Slicers!
Hookers John and Lou had net scores of 84 and 91 trying to keep it going for the Hookers but Slicers Mike C and Al had other ideas and with net scores of 82 and 86 they were able to hold on to a slim lead of 2 – 1.
George and Gary of the Hookers had very respectable rounds with net scores of 84 and 81 while Slicers Ted and Randy couldn’t get much going and their net scores of 86 and 89 suffering a 2 to 1 loss for the Slicers!
And just like that with the Slicers winning day 2 by the score of 9 to 3 the teams are all tied up 12 to 12 going into the final day!
Hmmmm… wasn’t that the case last year as well? Stay tuned to see if history will repeat itself?
