Day 1 - And so it Begins
Day 1 at Talamore Golf Resort was a bit hectic and pics of all players / matches did not get taken but here is what we got!
This match pitted Mark and Dan with the Slicers against the Hookers Gary and Russ! Gary’s Net:77 combined with Russ’s Net:74 while Mark had Net:84 and Dan Net:80 logged a 3 – 0 for the Hookers!
Then John and Mike B with the Hookers took on Slicers Ted and Matt. John with a Net:81 and Mike B’s Net:83 was good enough against Ted’s Net:76 and Matt’s Net:94 to Shut out the Slicers 3-0!
Slicers Al and Mike C took on Frank and Steve with the Hookers!
Frank shot a Net:78 and Steve a Net:82!
Al’s Net:86 and Mike’s Net:85 was not good enough and the Hookers dealt the Slicers yet another 3 – 0 defeat.
As the final match for the day, Slicers Randy and Rick took on George and Lou from the Hookers.
George’s Net:85 and Lou’s Net:81 wasn’t good enough on this day!
Randy with a Net:77 and Rick a Net:82 handed the Hookers their only loss for the day winning 3 – 0!
So after a great day of golf the Hookers take a 9 - 3 lead over the Slicers, just as they did last year! Don't go away just yet, stick around to see happens tomorrow!
